PRIVACY POLICY

WAKE THE STARS · LAST UPDATED 23 SEPTEMBER 2026

WAKE THE STARS stores your game progress and settings on your device. The game has no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no accounts. It plays offline. Apple's StoreKit handles the optional Pilot's Pack purchase and restore, under Apple's own terms. The game contains links to this support page, this privacy page and a support e-mail address; opening them uses your browser or mail app. If you write to us, we receive what you send and keep it only as long as needed to answer you, then delete it. Your device backup may include the game's local data; we run no cloud save and no server, so we cannot restore or delete a journey for you. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps ordinary server logs; it loads no third-party fonts, scripts or trackers.

What stays on your device

Your journey — crops, ship upgrades, sparks, letters collected, difficulty and music settings — is saved locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard app storage. It is visible only to the app. Deleting the app deletes it from the device (a device backup you made earlier may still hold a copy). We cannot see it, retrieve it, or restore it.

Notifications

If you allow it, the game sends you local notifications — created and delivered entirely on your own device — to tell you your crops have finished growing. Permission is requested the first time you plant a seed, and you can decline or revoke it at any time in Settings → Notifications. No notification content leaves your phone.

What reaches outside the game

Gameplay is completely offline. The app contains no third-party SDK. Two things reach outside the game: Apple's StoreKit, which handles the single optional purchase and its restore between your device and Apple (we never see your payment details), and the Support and Privacy links plus the support e-mail address, which open your browser or mail app when you tap them.

Children

WAKE THE STARS has no chat, no user-generated content, no advertising and no accounts, so the game itself gathers no personal information from a child or anyone else. The one optional purchase is processed by Apple, so family purchase controls such as Ask to Buy apply to it. If a parent writes to our support address on a child's behalf, we answer and then delete the message; parents can ask us to delete any correspondence at any time.

Apple's own reporting

If you download the game from the App Store, Apple may give the developer anonymous, aggregated statistics — for example how many people downloaded it in a country, or crash reports if you have opted in to sharing them with developers. That data comes from Apple, is not linked to you, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
